1. Who operates JetSync
JetSync is operated by Nataliia Litvinova, an individual developer (“JetSync”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact islapixelstudio@gmail.com.
2. Privacy summary
Your trips, generated plans, and personalization settings are designed to remain in JetSync’s local app storage.
The current app does not require an account and does not provide JetSync-operated cloud synchronization.
Network access is used for optional flight lookup, app-integrity checks, airline-logo downloads, App Store purchases, and support you initiate.
JetSync does not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or use data for cross-app tracking.
3. Information JetSync handles
Information stored on your device
Depending on the features you use, JetSync may store the following locally in the app’s protected storage:
- Trip and itinerary information, including flight numbers, airports, routes, dates, times, time zones, connections, and saved airline-logo references.
- Generated circadian plans and recommendations, including suggested sleep, light, caffeine, nap, and optional melatonin timing.
- Personalization and wellness preferences you choose to provide, such as sleep and wake times, chronotype, sleep regularity, caffeine preferences, melatonin preference, nap preferences, light sensitivity, ability to sleep while travelling, travel habits, plan intensity, notifications, and appearance settings.
- An app-generated local profile identifier used to associate your settings with your locally stored plans. It is not a JetSync account.
- Notification scheduling information and the app’s record of whether you enabled plan reminders.
Some older or development versions may retain additional profile fields in local app storage. JetSync does not intentionally upload these profile settings during circadian-plan generation.
Optional flight lookup
When you search by flight number, JetSync sends the normalized flight number and selected departure date to a JetSync backend hosted using Google Firebase and Google Cloud services. The backend may pass those lookup fields to a flight-data provider to return schedule and airport information. JetSync does not include your sleep profile, chronotype, generated plan, or other wellness settings in that lookup request.
Standard network and security information—such as IP address, request time, app version, device or platform signals, response status, and server logs—may be processed automatically by network, cloud, and flight-data providers when the request is made.
App-integrity information
JetSync uses Firebase App Check with Apple App Attest or DeviceCheck where available. These services process app or device attestation material and issue security tokens so the backend can reject unauthorized clients. App Check is used to protect the flight-lookup service, not to create a JetSync user account.
Airline logos
JetSync may request a public airline logo from pics.avs.io. As with most web requests, that provider may receive standard connection data such as your IP address and request headers. JetSync caches only the image file in its temporary app cache; the cached logo does not contain your trip, sleep, or circadian-plan data.
Purchases and subscription status
If you purchase a monthly or annual JetSync subscription, Apple processes the purchase through the App Store. JetSync may receive transaction and entitlement information needed to confirm premium access, such as product identifier, subscription status, transaction identifier, and expiration or renewal state. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
Support communications
If you email support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. Please avoid sending sensitive health, payment, or identity information that is not needed to resolve your request.
Legal-page visits
These legal pages do not intentionally use advertising cookies or analytics. They may be hosted through GitHub Pages, and GitHub may process ordinary server logs and connection information under its own privacy terms.
JetSync does not currently request precise location, Contacts, Photos, Camera, or HealthKit access for its core planning flow. If a future release adds a new permission or cloud feature, this policy will be updated before that data use begins.
4. How information is used
- To create, save, display, edit, and delete trips and circadian plans.
- To personalize recommendations around sleep, light exposure, caffeine, naps, travel constraints, and optional melatonin timing.
- To return flight details when you choose to use flight lookup.
- To schedule local notifications you enable.
- To verify subscriptions and restore premium access.
- To protect the backend from unauthorized use, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.
- To answer support requests and comply with legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on performance of the service you requested, your consent, our legitimate interest in securing and maintaining JetSync, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for optional processing, but doing so can disable the related feature.
5. Sharing and service providers
JetSync shares information only as needed to provide the requested feature, operate securely, process purchases, or comply with law. Relevant providers may include:
- Apple for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, subscription management, DeviceCheck or App Attest, operating-system notifications, and device services.
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud for Firebase configuration, App Check, and the protected flight-lookup backend.
- A flight-data provider used by the backend to resolve the flight number and departure date you submit.
- Airline-logo hosting through
pics.avs.io. - GitHub Pages if it hosts these public legal pages.
- Email providers when you contact support.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or abuse, or establish and defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Monthly and annual JetSync subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple controls payment information, billing, refunds, taxes, renewal notices, and payment-method management. JetSync uses only the transaction or entitlement information needed to provide and restore subscription access.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.
7. Retention and deletion
- On-device information: remains until you delete the relevant trip, reset app data where available, or delete the app, subject to iOS device backups and restoration behavior.
- Airline-logo cache: may be removed automatically by iOS or when the app cache is cleared.
- Flight lookup and security logs: are not used to create a JetSync profile. Cloud, network, and data providers may retain operational logs according to their configured settings and legal obligations, and only for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and compliance.
- Subscription records: are retained by Apple and may be retained by JetSync where reasonably necessary to verify access, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
- Support emails: are kept as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support history, protect legal rights, and comply with law.
To request deletion of support communications or backend information reasonably associated with you, email us. Because JetSync has no user account, we may need enough information to locate the relevant record and may be unable to identify anonymous technical logs.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
- Do not use optional flight lookup if you do not want the flight number and selected date sent to the backend.
- Enable or disable notifications in JetSync and in iOS Settings.
- Delete individual trips, reset supported app information, or delete JetSync to remove local app data, subject to device backups.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable law grants those rights.
- Complain to your local data-protection authority where that right applies.
We may need to verify a request before acting on it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. International processing
Apple, Google, GitHub, email providers, and flight-data or infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, providers and JetSync rely on contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for international transfers.
10. Security
JetSync uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including on-device storage, Apple platform protections, HTTPS network transport, and Firebase App Check for protected backend requests. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Age requirement
JetSync is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information through support or a backend feature, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when JetSync’s features, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will be revised when the policy changes. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
